Imagine a medieval world that bears striking similarities to our own, but where creatures of myth and legend are all too real. These monsters present a double threat to humanity; besides the physical dangers of such monsters, any who come in contact with the blood of a monster undergo a partial metamorphosis into that monster. And these 'blood mutants' can in turn pass on the curse with their own blood. Monsters and half-monsters run wild, keeping human development at a virtual standstill. Intrigued? Read on, and enjoy.
