The Immortal Pegasus

"What do you see, Dan? Hmm... look closely into the woods. Its fur as black as night, wings that can give men fright, and a golden horn that is her crown. The Immortal Pegasus is in these woods, and as a hunter I must end her days of killing, and take her crown." Dan's father said with a spark of happiness in his eyes.

"But Dad, why must we kill her she is a creature, plus if you spill her blood you'll get blooded. Dad don't do this, I'm telling you don't go in there." Dan pleaded for dear life, but his father ignored him and was already going in.

"Hey dad, don't come back", he scream as he ran into the woods.

An hour passed and Dan couldn't find his dad, he search the whole area and still no sign of him or the Pegasus. Until around nightfall, the woods lite up with errie creatures and in-human screams, Dan was now lost in the woods with death awaiting around every tree. He headed north for an hour or two when he heard the most horrifing scream in the world. He knew it was his dad. "Oh my God, that was Dad. But what happened was he blooded, or was he killed by a monster or even his prey?" he thought out loud. Just then the corpse of his father came down from the sky missing Dan by inches. "Oh my God, DAD!" he scream and knelt down besides him. "What happen are you..." he stoped as he saw the hole on his chest, it was clearly done by a creature with a horn. He backed up in terror, eyes fixed on the wound.

"Son" his father breathed out.

"Dad, you're still alive." He moved closer and tried to dress his wound, "It'll be okay" he said knowing his father is doomed.

"No son, listen to me......... get out of here............ the Black Horned Pegasus is real.......... she did this to me...... she'll attack yo.....", he breathed out just before dying.

"No dad, don't go, come back, please for the love of God, don't die!" Dan cried out in pain.

Years has passed and Dan became a hunter like his father, wishing every day he'd get a job to get that black horned pegasus, so he can kill it the way she did his dad. He studied up on the myth of that creature. And has a library on it, in hopes to find something that could come in handy. So far all he knows is that the horn is suposed to contain the ability to heal any disease or wound and destroy any creature, too. Also if it is removed from the creature, supossingly making the creature mortal, it's horn will still be usable forever. He must get that horn, imagine having the ability to heal anyone, maybe even the Blooded Mutants, too.

"Hey Dan, we got a job. Get this, it is your little myth, and she seems to be a killer", his assistant Jane stated, "Well come on lets get going, we have a monster to kill".

Dan sat there, and stared at the pictures drawn of the monster, its long feathery wings, its abnormaly long fur and its crown, the horn, oh if only he could get that horn, then he could rid the world of monsters and hopefully cure the blooded, he has to get the horn, that is all that matters to him.

"HELLO DAN", Jane shouted, "Lets get going, before we lose anymore day light".

"Yes Jane, I just got to get ready I'll be out in ten minutes" Dan replied.

Ten minutes later, Dan came out all packed and ready to hunt. "Well lets head to the area, she was last sighted. Also Dan there is a murder there, pretty grusome, too", Jane said, "Are you sure you wanna do this it my bring back mem...."

"It's all right Jane, right now all I want is to get that monster, and hopefully bring good in this horror of a world", Dan sharply replied.

"Well you sure have a goal, let's get going", Jane replied.

"Well I spent my whole life to get this beast that destroyed my life, now, now I have a chance to right its wrongs", Dan whispered.

They arrived at the last sighting, still fresh with blood. "Oh my God, this monster is mad. Poor man, look at him he was ramed, stumped then looks like flown up and droped here, I wonder if it was an attack or was he attacking her.

A faint noise came from the forest, Dan knew it was his prey. That noise, was just like the one he heard before his fathers scream. He jeted off into the woods. "Hey Dan wait for me", Jane shouted a she ran towards him. Dan stopped and Jane ran right into him. "Ouch why the hell did yo.....", Dan put his hand on her mouth, "Look there she is, I have a plan you distract her while I attack from behind", Dan said then jeted off.

"Hey blacky pegy, hello you stupid mule look at me", Jane said jumping up and down. The black pegasus turned around and stared at Jane, "Oh shit", she gulped. The pegasus horn lite up and she started to run towards Jane. Just then Dan jumped on her back, and cut off her horn, the pegasus, yelped in pain and feel to the ground, its neck fell right on a jagged tree stumped piercing its neck and killing it. Dan emerged covered in its blood, "Oh shit Dan you've been infected, your now a blooded mutant", Jane cried out.

Dan stared at his prize, and thought, "Damn what a price to pay", he looked at Jane, "Well our mission is over she is died and well, I got the horn, maybe I can use it on me", he took the horn and toched his chest, the horn lite up but it only made the blood infect faster, the fur grew out faster, and his feet became hooves, two black wings grew out of his back and a horn grew out of his forehead. He let out a cry knowing he is a blooded mutant for ever, so he took the horn and jabbed his chest, his blood spilled out, then the horn glowed and moved into his chest, sealing his fate, now he is stuck like this for all eternaty.

He put his newly formed hands on the ground and cried out, "all this seaching ended, and now I'm a blooded mutant. Why did this happen, is this the end of my life stuck as a damn BLOODED FREAK". Jane stood there, went up to the dead pegasus and said, "Dan I can't stand seeing you like this. If you are stuck like that then so will I. I always loved you and swore if this ever happen I would become a blooded, too", she put her hand in the wound of the monster and covered her body in it's blood. "Now we can suffer together", she grabed Dan and huged him. His chest lite up and half the horn went into her the light was so bright it lite up the sky for miles, She felt the changes occur. As the light dwindled two Blooded walks off into the woods together.
